This blog is dedicated to "preserving the restoration" of that ancient religion that was begun 195 years ago by a young 14 year old boy in upstate New York USA who had a question that couldn't be answered by anyone at the time to his satisfaction so he was impressed to follow the admonition of James 1:5 in his bible which lead him to begin a new divine dispensation that had not been witnessed since the martyrdom of the original apostles of our Lord. Here we will attempt to lay out and establish the foundation which was laid by that boy to preserve what the Lord gave us through him so we can return to the truths that have been set aside, modified, forgotten and ignored and begin to build true discipleship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am not a scholar or historian. I am just a follower of Christ and am so thankful to Him for the wonderful gift he gave to all of us of the Restoration. But it is not complete, it is only a foundation and we are slowly losing what we have received. I would ask those who may want to share any insight to submit them to me so we can "reason together" and be "uplifted". Please be courteous and respectful in your submissions and to always be kind to those who may not hold the same views as you do.
The Lord has prompted me over a number of weeks to start this effort which I have been hesitant to do since this is my first attempt at blogging. I hope He will be pleased with our effort here.
